What are the House Rules?

Please be aware that the minimum age requirement for using this property is 25 years old, in accordance with North Carolina Commission Laws. Upon booking, we will provide you with a rental agreement to review. Please note that there may be additional taxes and fees charged by the platform and state.

It's essential to adhere to our house rules regarding gatherings and guest numbers. Unauthorized events or exceeding the agreed-upon guest count may result in the forfeiture of your security deposit and incur additional charges or removal from the property. Additionally, the rental rates are based on a maximum of four guests. Any undisclosed guests will be charged at a rate of $100 per night.

While we appreciate animals, we regret to inform you that they are not allowed on the property. Any undisclosed pets will result in the loss of your security deposit and incur an additional $500 charge as well as removal from the property.

Our guests have access to all areas of the property except for a few locked spaces. For everyone's safety, we have security cameras installed on the property.

Your stay includes access to essential amenities, entertainment options, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Outdoor facilities such as the fire pit and BBQ grill are also available for your enjoyment.

Please ensure that you respect our house rules and refrain from hosting parties, conducting commercial photography, smoking, using drugs, or engaging in any activity deemed illegal by local governing authorities on the premises. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

What type of clean up is required?

Welcome to our cozy retreat! To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following clean-up policy:

Washing Sheets and Remaking Beds: Before departure, guests are responsible for washing all linens and remaking beds. Please wash the used linens and make the beds before leaving.

Washing Towels: Guests are also responsible for washing their own towels. Please wash and dry any used towels before checking out.

Washing and Putting Away Dishes: After use, please wash any dishes, utensils, and cookware you've used during your stay. Feel free to utilize the dishwasher for convenience. Once cleaned, please return them to their respective cabinets and drawers.

Temperature Settings: Before departure, set the heating or air conditioning to 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) to protect the interior of the home and maintain a comfortable environment for future guests.

Disposing of Trash: Please dispose of all trash in the designated trash cans provided outside the property. This helps to keep the area clean and prevents attracting wildlife, including bears.

Wildlife Awareness: While enjoying the natural surroundings, please be mindful of local wildlife activity, especially bears. Avoid leaving food or trash outside and securely close all doors and windows when not in use.

Light Clean-Up and Vacuuming: Before checking out, please do a light clean-up of the living areas, including sweeping and vacuuming any carpeted areas if necessary. This helps maintain a tidy and inviting space for future guests.

Disposing of Unused Foods: If you have any unused or perishable food items, please dispose of them in the trash bins provided. This helps prevent odors and attracts unwanted pests.

Food Sharing Policy: Feel free to enjoy any foods available on the premises. However, if you consume any items, please replace them before your departure. This ensures that all guests have access to the amenities provided.

Check-In/Out Information?

Welcome to our cozy retreat! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, please take note of the following check-in and check-out procedures:

Check-In: Check-in time is at 4:00 PM local time. Prior to your arrival, you will receive a unique code for the door lock. Please use this code to access the property upon arrival. If you have any questions or require assistance during your check-in process, feel free to reach out to us.

Check-Out: Check-out time is at 12:00 PM (noon) local time. Before your departure, please ensure that all personal belongings are gathered and that the property is left in a tidy condition. Please return the key to the lockbox or follow any specific instructions provided for key return.
